Downhill Classroom by Zafos Xagorakis
at the Benaki Museum, Pireos.
An installation in the form of an outdoor classroom consisting of 18 desks, 36 chairs as well as a teacher's desk, cut in a 5-10 degree angle.
According to the museum's website, the artist is making a statement on the teaching methods which are used in conditions of crisis (war, earthquake, concentration camp, etc.) when indoor teaching becomes impossible.
